Across The Bay is a tranquil, but textural piece painted in many colours. The imagining of relaxing on the shore, looking across the quiet bay and soaking in the restorative environment. Painted in clear blues with light dancing off the water and shoreline, it is a simple, yet interesting work for your space.
I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.
This is a larger work that is definitely a statement piece. It is a bold, yet still quite calming work that is suitable for either home or office environments.
