Balancing Act

Balancing Act is a mixed media and acrylic painting exploring the daily juggle of managing the demands of life. How some things hinge off others, and all need to be effectively undertaken to achieve the desired results.

I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses the simplicity of the colour palette along with a generous collection of collage elements and mark-making to generate the texture and strength. The many layers bring the history that I love in a work.

This is a Mid-Size work and is a beautifully chaotic piece which will invite the viewer to look into the work and as such enhance your space. It uses strength of shape, quality of the light in colour and many mark-making elements to be a strong, but not overwhelming work. Suitable for home or office.
