By The Light Of The Silvery Moon is an expressive abstract work inspired by the bright reflections of a full silvery moon highlighting the myriad of surfaces at night.
I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses the simplicity of the colour palette along with luxurious gold marks to represent the moonlit reflections upon the landscape. Whilst a bold work, the simplicity of colour choice and the layers of washes used to convey the nuances of night shadows appeal to me.
This is a larger work and is a beautiful statement piece which will enhance any space. It uses strength of shape and limited palette choices to be strong, but also calming. Suitable for home or office.
