Objet D'Art - Circles On Squares is an abstract painted in Gold and Black using the interplay of texture and line to create a striking work on an objet d’art ply cube. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. Working on this little cube was another way to challenge my skills and to test the boundaries of what may (or may not) work. I believe that these little pieces would make great personal and unique gifts, or just a lovely little curio to have for yourself. I enjoy working with these cubes, and they will probably remain part of my practice moving forward.
