Circular Quay - Sydney is an expressive work inspired by the sights and sounds of the bustling heart of Circular Quay, the high-rise offices and residences that frame the foreshore and the constant movement of ferries and ships on the most beautiful harbour. Frenetic movement and colour captured with responsive mark-making.
I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me, and this piece is no different.
This is a larger work that is definitely a statement piece. When hung in the right space it will bring a dynamic, and bold accent. Suitable for home or office.
