Continental Baths - Wollongong This pool is the original competition pool which abuts the ocean in Wollongong City. It was often inundated by high tides and large waves. Inspired by the old concrete pavilion with it’s blue paint and tiles, and the solid concrete and rock wall surround that ‘protected’ it from the elements. This pool is an historic element in this areas history. These little works are able to be hung or can be self-standing

I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making offset by the collage components create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.

Although smaller in size, this work will create a beautiful moment when placed in your space. It is simple and brimming with expectation. Suitable for home or office.
