Series
"Distant Stories". A strong, yet minimal work. I love the strength and serenity of this work, and know that it has been achieved by navigating the creative process with all its pushes and pulls. Whilst the facade presented may be 'calm', this has been achieved by working through the myriad of under-layers and influences which have all contributed to the end result. Like life, there are so many layers which have come together to inform this work, and whilst it is simple and strong - there is a conversation that happened on the journey that has very much guided the work to this outcome. I believe that this creative journey must not be dismissed as 'lost in the process'. For me it IS the process - and that is where I find the joy, and I see it all pulling together to contribute to the final outcome. These little works are able to be either self-standing or to hang. Suitable for Home or Office.
