Empowered 2

Empowered 2 is one of a set of two. This work explores the strength of line when combined with colour and how the introduction of colour helps inform the context of the piece.

I’ve used several techniques whilst creating these works. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making in the single colour creates a strong and balanced work. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.

This work will create a bold statement when placed in your space. Suitable for home or office.
