Finding The Calm is an abstract artwork which uses layered acrylic and mixed media with a little created collage to create a work which is both bold and quietly reflective. The hunt for moments of calm in a chaotic world.

I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses many mark-making tools and some created collage elements. The expressive marks replicate the interruptions that are constant in our world, with the quieter elements are reflective of sitting surrounded by the stillness which has been consciously created.

This is a larger work and is a beautiful albeit quieter statement piece which will enhance any space. It is reflective and soulful. It will draw you in and you will find many moments within the work that will bring you joy. Suitable for home or office.
