Holding The Middle Ground is a balanced, contemplative painting exploring emotional equilibrium using layered abstraction. The push and pull of managing situations - the light against the dark - both ligitimate in their space, but both trying to overpower the other. This work was painted as a partner to ‘Managing Chaos’ if you are interested in a pair.

I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses a confident neutral palette and strong shapes with underlying history to create the many layers that bring the depth to the work that I love.

This is a Mid-Size work and is a work which will bring anchor and substance to your space. It uses simplicity of colour to be a strong and confident work. Suitable for home or office.
