Inclement - Series of Three is an expressive, yet quiet and moody series of paintings. These works can either be displayed as a set of three if you so choose, or individually. All of these three works are laden with feeling and emotion, and are representative of being immersed in a cold and shrouded landscape, embraced in the chill of the thick and heavy mist. I’ve used several techniques whilst creating these works. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making offset by the collage components create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.
These works will create a calming and confident set when placed in your space. The are suitable for home or office.
