Indigenous

Indigenous is a celebration of first nations people and their sharing of their joyful cultures. With such connection to their lands, and history of knowledge this work is in recognition of them and how they enhance and educate the communities that they are part of.

This work is a rare one for me. It is my interpretation of something ‘real’. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work harks to reality more than most of my other works. I still love that it is bold, expressive and has it’s own voice, and that it is still borne from how things make me feel. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.

This is a mid-size work that is unapologetically bold and colourful. It has a voice that will draw you in. It will command the space that it is placed in. Could work equally well in an home or office environment.
