'R' Is For ...

‘R’ Is For … is a beautiful work with many lovely moments - one of which is the letter ‘R’ resting in the corner. It makes me wonder just how a simple letter can mean so many different things depending on who is looking at it. How does it relate to you in your world ? Created using acrylic and collage. These little works are able to be hung or self-standing, and will also make a fabulous little gift.

I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making offset by the collage components create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.

Although smaller in size, this work will create a beautiful moment when placed in your space. It is simple and brimming with expectation. Suitable for home or office.
