I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different. Painted in strong unmuted colours along with bold textural mark-making suggesting the freedom and joy of the new growth.
