Strength In Stillness - Set of Two This is a pair of soft textured works which - although quiet - still show strength of resolve. Nothing too loud, nothing too bold - but still strong and knowing. These works have been painted to display as a pair. They can be put together in many differing combinations - all of which are pleasing. They are photographed here as they were painted. (Please view individual listings for more detailed images.)
I’ve used several techniques whilst creating these works. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making offset by the collage components create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.
These works will create a calming and confident set when placed in your space. The are suitable for home or office.
