Stripey Towels and Summer Fun is an intuitive acrylic and mixed media work using bright summery colours, mark making, collage and paint to create a fun, confident and exciting piece reflective of days spent on the beach in summer.
I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.
Although smaller in size, this work will create a beautiful statement when hung in the right space. It is dynamic and strong, with memories of wonderful days at the beach. It will draw you in and you will find many moments within the work that will bring you joy. Suitable for home or office.
