Summer Fun In The Sun is a work which explores the strength of movement and simplicity. Using lovely summery colours, it is reflective of being immersed in the heat under the trees beside the water. Simple in colour and form, layers of free expression come together to create a beautifully simple work that is strong and refreshing.

I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this work. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making in fresh colour create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.
