This work captures the rhythm, texture, and emotional resonance of this occurrence and the delight at, once again seeing some sunshine - despite there also being a very high forecast of rain.
I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses the simplicity of a cool colour palette punctuated with bold mark-making to create the many layers that bring the history to the work that I love.
