"Sunny, With a Chance of Showers" was painted in the aftermath of a mini tornado which went through the local hinterland, causing destruction and catastrophe - but also beauty. This work captures the rhythm, texture, and emotional resonance of this occurrence and the delight at, once again seeing some sunshine - despite there also being a very high forecast of rain.
