There’s More To This Story Than Meets The Eye is part of a series of work which explore the concept of what is happening inside your mind. A bold abstract work interrogating the push and pull of internal thoughts, the connections and intersections. Using layered acrylic and mixed media to create a work which holds history and nuance.

I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses the simplicity of primarily deep gorgeous greens overlayed with the strength of mark making and created collage elements interrupted by absolute moments of unexpected chaos and surprise. In this work I was being driven to create something that was challenging as well as boldly brave and beautiful.

This is a larger work and is a strong statement piece which will own its space. It uses the strength of the gorgeous palette interrupted by the urgent truths and unexpected occurrences. Suitable for home or office.
