Three Trees is a bold piece painted in limited colours. Striking and bold, it reflects upon the concept of resilience and resistance, and the will to survive. A small group of trees out in the elements - weathering all that’s being thrown at them, yet still not only surviving, but thriving.
I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.
This is a larger work that is definitely a statement piece. It is simple, but dynamic and will create a strong, bold accent. Suitable for home or office.
