Time Fades All Histories is a work that uses acrylic and collage to capture the concept of vivid recollections fading with the passing of time. Whilst the memory is still held, it doesn't contain the same clarity that was present when originally experienced. These little works are able to be hung or self-standing. If you can bare to give it away it would also make a great gift.
I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making offset by the collage components create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.
Although smaller in size, this work will create a beautiful moment when placed in your space. It is simple and brimming with expectation. Suitable for home or office.
