Turning The Page To Spring is a work using beautiful warm colours to represent the shift of season from Winter to Spring. Referencing the joy of new growth erupting from the plants that have been ‘hibernating’ to populate and bring to life these garden spaces again. This work is able to be either self-standing or hung. I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.
This is a larger work that is definitely a statement piece. When hung in the right space it will bring a dynamic, and bold accent. Suitable for home or office.
