Urban Jungle 2 is an acrylic and multi media work created to explore the types of mark making and unbridled expressive elements and how they will interact whilst using a fairly limited palette. I enjoyed using the multi media and paint in a joyful and uninhibited way to create this beautiful series of works with strong geometric elements which brought to my mind the busyness and hustle and bustle of an inner urban environment.
I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work has many layers which all bring their character to the final product. I enjoy the contrast between the expressive and curated, the bold and the soft and the interplay that these all have with each other to create moments of surprise and interest. All these elements work together to create this cohesive work.
This is a smaller work and is a beautiful piece which will enhance its space. It is a strong and striking piece suitable for home or office.
