When The River Runs

When The River Runs is a layered, mixed media painting exploring the impact of drought ending rains running through the parched environment, and the destruction - along with resuscitation - that ensues. Whilst anticipated with excitement, these rains can also shroud the landscape overwhelmingly until the water can escape.

I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work with its gorgeous bright colour palette and expressive mark-making is strong and expressive. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me, and this piece is a moment of regeneration captured in time.

This is a smaller work that will happily bring a little hint of boldness and colour to your space. Suitable for either a home or office environment.
