As Winter Falls

As Winter Falls This is a work using collage to capture the weight of the approaching winter season - the joys of snowfalls, and the clean vistas of long winter views. These little works are able to be hung or self-standing. If you’d like a set, this work can be paired with ‘The Art Of Serenity’.

I’ve used several techniques whilst creating this painting. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making offset by the collage components create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.

Although smaller in size, this work will create a beautiful moment when placed in your space. It is simple and brimming with expectation. Suitable for home or office.
