Strength on Black - Series of Three

Strength on Black - Series of Three are acrylic and mixed media works exploring limited mark-making, limited palette and unbridled expression to create a strong and cohesive set which have a unifying connection to each other. Simple in colour and form layers and elements come together to create beautifully simple works that are strong and embracing. (Please view individual listings for more detailed images.)

I’ve used several techniques whilst creating these works. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making offset by the collage components create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.

These works will create a striking and confident set when placed in your space. The are suitable for home or office.
