Strength on Black - The Writing’s On The Wall is an acrylic and mixed media work exploring limited mark-making, limited palette and unbridled expression to create a strong and cohesive piece. Simple in colour and form, layers and elements come together to create a beautifully simple work that is strong and embracing. This work is one of a set of three.

I’ve used several techniques whilst creating these works. I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. The random mark-making offset by the collage components create a beautiful balance. Works that are borne from how things make me feel - not necessarily the image I am seeing. All my works hark back to where my mind has taken me to, and this piece is no different.

These works will create a striking and confident set when placed in your space. The are suitable for home or office.
