Urban Deviations is a work using bold painted marks and created collage on a neutral base. Balancing the curated with the random it is a strong piece exploring the concept of losing yourself in a built environment, and exploring all the pathways and alleyways that are available to you.
I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses the simplicity of the colour palette along with multiple collage elements to generate moments of surprise as well as reflect on the constant hustle and bustle of the environment. This is a work of many layers that bring history.
This is a Mid-Size work and is a beautiful statement piece which will enhance your space. It uses strength of shape, limited palette choices and layers of ‘what has gone before’ to be strong, but also calming. Suitable for home or office.
