Embedded Memories

Embedded Memories is a layered, mixed media painting bearing witness to lifelong memories that you find sometimes spring to the front of mind without prompting. A moment of history being mentally revisited.

I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses the simplicity of colour along with multiple collage and mark-making elements to generate moments of surprise.

This is a Mid-Size work and is a beautiful statement piece which will enhance your space. It uses strength of shape, limited palette choices and layers of ‘what has gone before’ to be strong, but also calming. Suitable for home or office.
