The Strength of Subtlety

A$629.00

The Strength Of Subtlety is a quiet reflective work using a neutral colour palette, but also containing some bolder mark-making elements that are expressive but somewhat muted to bring the sense of strength and form to the work.

I love to create works that are intuitive and expressive with many layers, textures and surprising elements. This work uses the ‘differences’ to create the surprise that I enjoy in my work. Whilst it is a fairly quiet piece using a soft turquoise blue and pale green as a base, it still has a lot of character and will happily stand in its own space.

This is a Mid-Size work and is a beautiful piece which will enhance your space. It uses strength of shape, strong but lessened mark-making choices and many layers to create a soft and meditative work. Suitable for home or office.
