“The Breaking of Drought” captures outback Australia - more often dry than wet - after rains creating inland seas, with water as far as the eye can see. It is a rare, but beautiful phenomenon. The cracks of dry earth filling with the water, both left by the rain and that draining from higher ground, bringing with it the hope for recovery of landscape.
